The midpoint of the climb, at 1,463 m. The narrow cave where, by tradition, Vaishnavi hid for nine months. There is food, accommodation and medical help here.

A spur about 1.5 km above the Bhawan at 2,017 m. Tradition holds the yatra is complete only after darshan here; a ropeway covers the climb in under three minutes.
